It could do but not directly. I told you about what I do in your last question (finding ways to use bacteria to stop farmers having to use so much chemicals to help crops grow). If that works then it will mean that farmers don’t have to spray their fields with chemicals so much so they would use less diesel in their tractors.
Some of the turbulence research I do could ultimately lead to helping reduce something called ‘drag’, which is like friction but for air or liquids. If a plane or car experiences less drag then it doesn’t need to use as much oil.
