      Hi

      this is a great question!

Stars form inside relatively dense/ crowded concentrations of interstellar gas and dust that we call molecular clouds. Molecular clouds are really cold…..like, seriously cold-the temperature is about -263c. So you know that when water gets cold it becomes solid (ice) if gases get cold enough they will also start to form a liquid or even a solid so at temperatures this low the gases molecules start to bind together to form a solid…this solid is a star.

And you are a star for asking such a great question!

      Senga 🙂
