• Question: Hello, we are two of the students here. We LOVE maths and science. So, here's the first question: What do you enjoy most about your job?

      Awesome! I LOVE maths and science too!

      The thing I love most about my job is being able to make nerdy jokes. I’d tell you one but all the good ones Argon ha ha

      Seriously though I think mu favourite part is when I have a “lightbulb” moment and all of the little bits of information I’ve got from experiments seem to all come together and help me to answer part of the big question I have which is “how can I use bacteria to help crops get nutrients from soil better so that farmers don’t have to use lots of chemicals, that are bad for the environment”.

      I also really love it when I hear from people like you both that share my love of science.

      it’s only happened to me once but after a lot of work a few years ago i finally discovered something completely new. it was very small and probably not that interesting but for about half an hour (until i told my boss) i was the only person on the planet who knew this new little fact. i thought that was fun.
