• Question: Do you harm animals in your work?

      Hi JJG

      Thank you for your question. I am very pleased to say that I don’t hurt any animals in my work. I’m a massive animal lover so although I know that sometimes it is necessary for animals to be used in some research I just couldn’t do it myself.

      In my job I work with plants and bacteria, which I have to experiment with and sometimes they are killed at the end of the experiment, they are still living things though and this can still make me feel bad. 🙁

      Absolutely not! Though that is very easy for me because my work doesn’t involve animals at all… In my personal life I try to avoid eating meat and dairy foods (vegan) to reduce the harm done to animals.
